Blue rippling potable water

About Worobey Transport, Inc.

Water Treatment Plant process at sunset

Founded in 1999, Worobey Transport Inc. (WTI) is a PA DEP-certified bulk water hauling company with the ability to engineer and implement compliant pumping solutions based on your specific requirements. Services include emergency response, proactive emergency preparedness planning, and temporary water system solutions for scheduled outages. With a fleet of permitted vessels, multiple supply partners, and an experienced team, we have the knowledge and resources to provide a reliable supply of clean, safe drinking water.

WTI is an approved contractor for Pennsylvania American Water and a member of the Pennsylvania Rural Water Association.

After graduating from Penn State with a degree in accounting, Brian Worobey worked in the transportation industry for an LTL carrier for five years. Brian became the first franchisee for Aqua-Duck Water Transport in 1999, hauling municipal-grade, non-potable water with one truck.

Several years later, Brian became the primary hauler when a summer camp’s water supply became contaminated, causing children to get sick. Brian moved quickly with the water authority and a tanker owner to create a logistical plan and gain approval on an emergency permit to ensure the camp had access to safe drinking water. Once the water system was rehabilitated, Brian purchased the tanker, the permit was transferred to his company, and he became a DEP-certified bulk water hauler.

Although WTI has grown significantly, Brian has intentionally kept the company relatively small to maintain quality control and ensure he has the resources to serve his clients. WTI has about 10 employees, and Brian is very much a hands-on owner, still driving a truck to client sites and overseeing projects.

Today, Brian’s top priority is encouraging clients to take proactive steps to prevent disaster. Meet with Brian and his team to assess your current drinking water system, identify opportunities and risks, and develop an emergency preparedness plan so you’re ready for the unexpected.
