Challenge
A utility easement issue caused a water main connection delay for a regional healthcare provider that was building a new hospital. The facility’s onsite laboratory certification was required two months prior to the hospital opening. The hospital could not open without this certification.
Solution
WTI engineered a pump solution to provide DEP-complaint water up to the fourth floor of the hospital for 30 days, maintaining the required system pressure. The solution included an NSF 61-compliant source tanker and all required fittings to connect to the facility’s plumbing.
Result
The temporary water system engineered and installed by WTI ensured that the new hospital had clean, safe drinking water and system pressure requirements were met while easement and certification issues were resolved.
