Challenge
A 20-inch water main break had a prison staring at the possibility of having no drinking water. They needed emergency potable water transport to maintain an adequate supply of water.
Solution
WTI dispatched two NSF 61-compliant tankers, two NSF 61-compliant potable transfer pumps, associated tubing, and fittings to facilitate temporary potable water delivery.
Results
One tanker served as a water source, maintaining the required pressure into prison booster pumps. The second tanker served as a transport tanker, ensuring the first tanker remained full. This solution kept the prison water system online during the eight-hour outage.
